Student Visa in United States of America (USA)
For applying for a visa in United States of America you are required to pick one of the categories of visa that you want to apply for:
- F1 Student Visa:
If student wants to study in US and applying for a program which is more than 18 hours of study in a week require an F1 visa. This study course includes all undergraduate and graduate programs like MS, MBA and so on.
- J1 Exchange Visitor Visa:
J1 exchange visitor visa is for students, visiting scholars, and lecturers pursuing an exchange program. For instance — Many students on short-term study abroad programs from Indian universities will travel to the U.S. on a J-1 visa.
- M-1 Vocational/ Non-Academic Student Visa:
The M1 visa is for student's visa reserved for vocational and technical schools.
